An Investment in Our Community

A Stronger "Why"

I joined Paparazzi to fill the financial funding gaps of my son's college education. However, this past week my “why” got a little bigger.  COVID-19’s impact on 2020 is tremendous for many in our community.  I wanted to fill the gaps for upcoming other college freshmen this year.  After discussing the idea with my family, we decided to offer 3 - $1,000 ($500/semester) scholarships to graduating seniors pursuing higher education.

To qualify for scholarship everyone needed:

  • Nomination from member of aLilExtra.com Facebook VIP Group (supporting the community that has supported aLilExtra.com)
  • Proof of enrollment to a bachelor’s degree program at an accredited four-year U.S. college or Associate degree at 2-year community college
  • 300 Word Essay (Pick an experience from your own life and explain how it has influenced your development.)
  • GPA of 2.8 or higher on 4.0 Scale (Required for 2nd Semester Award)
